My state pension - what if ?

Under what circumstances can my wife benefit from my state pension contributions – if I was to die before I take any pension payments ?
Does it depend on her savings or her own state pension ?

Assuming that both you and her reach(ed) State Pension Age after the introduction of the new State Pension in April 2016, then all she would be entitled to is half of any 'protected amount' (i.e SERPS/S2P over £203.85 accumulated under the old rules)
The new State Pension: Inheriting or increasing State Pension from a spouse or civil partner - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

There is no inheritance of the new SP outside that outlined above. From your previous posts you will not have an entitlement above the current £203.85 so there is nothing to inherit.
