Not much left on my mortgage

I only have £6000 left to pay off my mortgage and an idea popped into my head about getting a 0% balance transfer credit card to move that 6k onto. What’s your thoughts, would my mortgage company, HSBC, accept it. I’m on a SVR of 6.99% with HSBC. Minimum payment of £320.

You can't BT a mortgage.
And your lender won't accept a card payment.
You'd need a money transfer option - fee around 4%.1 -
You would need a card that does a money transfer to your bank account.

could you money transfer the 6k advance to your bank, pay off your mortgage then move the credit card debt to another balance transfer card so would only pay the extra % until it was transferred0
