Hello all
Heads up, there's a new social media called threads, created by Zuckerberg and therefore in the same family as Facebook and Instagram. It's a very similar format to twitter and is rivalling it.
A lot of brands seem to be signing up and I reckon a few of them may do comps as a way of attracting followers etc. so may be worth getting signed up.
If you have instagram already you can follow the same accounts as you do on there (providing that they also have threads).

I know @AC55 wasn't suggesting this, but before anyone mentions it, please don't share your Threads username (or any other social media details) on the Forum

But can only use Threads on a mobile device, at the moment anyway. Not on laptop/desktop.

Pretty Little Thing just posted on insta that they're running a Threads comp if anyone wants to post it up - I'm currently having a techy scrap with it (if anyone knows how to create a Threads account that's not linked to their IG/Facebook let me know please, I'm stuck in a loop!)TOP MONEYSAVING TIP

For now, only Instagram users can create Threads accounts. at the moment the only way to delete a threads account is to delete the IG account associated with it - they have said this will change (you can suspend the threads account or something similar instead of deleting for now)
I think they rushed the release to take advantage of TW issues3
