Hi

I've split with my partner. We have a house together. She is leaving and buying a new house. I'm remortgaging and paying her her half and she is using that for her deposit on her new house.

There is a fee to remove her name off the title deeds.
Who do you think should pay it.? Should it be half each.?

She has requested to me that I should pay it now as if I don't then she will have to pay stamp duty on her new house.

Should we pay half each as she says not!
