Unable to pay for S&S Amazon with gift card balance

A bit new to me, there always use to be a checkbox saying "Use giftcard balance if available" but this is gone now and I can only select card payment.
Has something changed recently?

Just had a play on Amazon S&S and it applies my giftcard balance automatically as always
on the right side of the screen it shows what will be used (total would be zero if the GC was big enough)

Order Summary

Items:	£16.79
Postage & Packing:	£0.00
Total:	£16.79
Gift Certificates:	-£1.34
Order Total:	£15.45

Ok I see why this is, if I set it to be delivered asap then it applies gift card balance, but when I set it to the future date - all S&S together it doesn't show this option. Maybe it will automatically.. I'll set it to some virtual card and hope for the best.
