Is your Gov uk online personal tax account updated with all savings interest at any point?
I’m ready to submit self assessment for 22-23 and I think there may be tiny amounts of interest I’ve missed / can’t find ,  it’s well under the £1000 savings allowance so I’m wondering if hmrc will care?   I’ve split the £250 joint interest that was paid on 31 March.
The largest savings interest wasn’t added until May 23 so I assume that will go under 23-24 SA?
I’d rather submit sooner rather than later as there should be a £1290 tax refund due from overpaying PAYE via an umbrella co. in 2022.  according to the accounting software.

For many on here their banks do tell HMRC.  But, for me and my partner it's never there.  I've had my self assessment account for over 20 years and hers is over 10 years old.

With regard to the May 2023 interest, yes that will be for the 2023-24 tax year.  Finally, I wouldn't worry too much about missing out some interest if it makes no difference to your overall tax liability.  It's happened to me in the past and nothing was said, but I'm only talking a few £.
