Can I still complete on Monday 3rd July with HSBC/Optima Legal?

HSBC say Optima have sent the wrong details on Certificate of Title mid week last week and have emailed them directly to say sort it.
I have also logged onto the Optima Legal portal to tell them.
Completion on portal still says 3rd July.
HSBC say they still have not received it this morning....can it all be done on Monday as its 'their' mess up.

I am hoping so? I am moving from First Direct. Straight forward remortgage no additional borrowing.

If the new bank hasn't received the COT yet they can't release funds. If Optima sorts it out tomorrow morning, sends it across to HSBC and then HSBC processes it and releases funds before the end of the day then perhaps Optima will be able to complete it.

Don't worry about it though, it should be sorted by the end of the week. You might incur some extra costs because of the 4-5 extra days on SVR but you can always complain to Optima / HSBC and get it refunded.

It could, but this is Optima legal... Anyone you speak to on the phone hasn't a clue so I wouldn't hold my breath.
