Morning folks. Thanks for starting us off nmlc.I'm up and at 'em this morning as I have a 9.00am appointment at the hospital which is an hour away. Better that than wait another month for my local one, I really want the new mould. After that I've going to an exercise class at the pool.Yesterday the rain fell without a dry moment, today may be the same. I'm doing well controlling my food intake so already feel better for it.I look forward to catching up with everyone's news later. Hug to our poorlies.Happy Wednesday to all.10

Morning all
I am up a bit earlier than usual as well I have a Dr’s appointment at 9 this morning I have waited 8 weeks to see my GP which is normal around here so there is no way I am going to miss it !
Will go and collect my private client today and take him to work and then stop on the way home and do some shopping.
Dinner tonight will be curry and rice for the others and some veg for me.
Gers I hope your appointment goes well xx
Have good days all and take care xx11 -
Good morning, thanks for starting NMLC.
It's a grey start here, but warmish, we had rain yesterday.
Hope your appointments go well, Gers and Ruby.
Not a lot planned for today except visiting an old lady I know who just lives a short walk away. She rang yesterday, for a chat and asked me to visit. She can't go out on her own now, but her family are very caring, and she has visitors quite often.
She's lovely, always interested in what's going on in the world and in her friends lives.
Apart from that I'll just be pottering.
Hope everyone has a good day, thinking of our poorlies.
Take care folks.11 -
Morning everyone it never stopped raining yesterday it’s very overcast today but so warm and muggy off to work in a minute dog has been walked hubby’s been fed and watered had a rubbish few weeks with WW but went last night and lost 6 pounds I nearly fell off the scales I’ve never done that in my life and believe me I have been on a diet for best part of it if I stay the same next week I will be happy after such a good loss it has helped that hubby is on board with no biscuits crisps or other rubbish is coming into the house if it’s not there we can’t eat it . Hope all of you with doctors appointments all goes well I think it’s the same everywhere waiting to see a doctor getting appointments is impossible. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing11

Morning All
Well that's it, I'm officially on holiday for 6 weeks! Typically it rained all day but it didn't put the piper or the children off. I was given some lovely cards and presents from parents, so kind of them.
It's dry at the moment but I'm sure the rain will be back later, hope we get some better weather soon, the garden has gone from bone dry to sodden in a week. As it's raining I'm going to start painting all the woodwork downstairs, it's presently all waxed wood and I'm doing it white. An epic job but there's no hurry but I'm not sure what room to start in!
Good news you got an appointment Gers, hope it goes well.
8 weeks for an appointment Ruby?
Sounds like the little one will have a ball dp1.
Your OH seems to be doing really well Izzy.
Hugs to the missing and the poorlies, take care. XX11 -
Cross posted with you Izzy, fantastic weight loss, well done!8

Morning folks and thanks NMLC. I think most of us are stuck with this damp and mizzly weather. There is no end in sight looking at the forecast. Where's the sunshine gone!
Nothing exciting planned for today and I really must make a start on cleaning the windows inside. I keep putting it off for no other reason than I cba! Yesterday was spent organising stuff for next week instead of getting on with now.
IZZIE wow 6 lbs that's amazing. Stick at it, you will get there at this rate. CAMELOT enjoy your 6 weeks holiday, I hope the weather picks up for you. RUBY 8 weeks is par for the course round here too, it's getting beyond a joke. And don't get me started on dentists as that is even worse. I have had 2 appointments cancelled and now we are told they have no NHS dentists, it's private treatment only. Other practices are just as bad so it's pointless trying elsewhere. Grr.
Have a nice day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for the poorlies, getting better and MIA. Take care all, be safe xx

I’ve arrived at the hospital a bit early 😀 not much traffic in the road so I’m in my car listening to my new audiobook - Rob Rinder’s The Trial.Since lockdown my GP surgery
has brought in new systems which work really well. You can book a same day telephone consultation with the Doc who then can offer a very early face to face appointment or f decide on other treatment. There’s also a book in service for the practice nurse who holds a sort of minor complaints service. Access to all medics is now much easier.Of course, exceptions can be made for those who can’t use the telephone etc so it’s flexible enough to cater for everyone.Right, must make my way to audiology.12 -
Morning everyone
Dull here this morning but it's not meant to rain till this afternoon so I've got the bedding from DDs bed in washing - little one will expect her elephant covers to be back on next time she's here.
I'll go down to mam and dads this morning for a cuppa then I need to sit and go through the PIP assessment ready for my phone call from Citizens Advice tomorrow.
Gers - we have the same system at my doctors, though you still have to wait about a week for the telephone appointment.
Izzy - well done!
Camelot - enjoy your holidays - hope the sun comes back out for you
Redruby - enjoy your day with your client
Scarletribbons - enjoy your chat
The washing is down to 2 minutes so I'll get that hung out then get sorted to go out.
Hope everyone has a good day today x

Morning...Dull and a bit drizzly here too but it's all good, I'm going to start setting up my water tank pond today. Wow the price of pond plants has shot up! I got some of the cheapest ones and I'll ask on a gardening group if anyone has any more. Then this afternoon when OH has gone to work, I'm going round the house some more to get rid and tidy and organise a bit better. It's bin day today so at least the recycling has left the house. Nothing exciting but things I like to do...And I realised yesterday how close Wisely is to me, relatively speaking, so I think a trip there is on the cards this year, being as I can pretty much please myself. Must remember to take a packed lunch thoughGers, hope it goes well today, loving the new take charge of health attitude
Happy long holiday camelot, loch swimming on the cards? Ruby, hope your appointment goes well too. Scarlet, that's nice of you, just think, you're making someone's day today
Izzy, well done! I did laugh at feeding and watering the husband..If you'd walked him too I would have spat tea everywhere
TA, that's why I have nets, I can't see the dirt..:) Right, I'm off for breakfast and to get going and stuff...take care all
