Spent £6 at the weekend, I had thought maybe that I'd have a no spend weekend, £4 on a charity shop handbag and £2 on some posh artisan cheese. (Checked the price and the price per kg was double what we normally pay in Aldi.)
  • I feel that I was probably abit defensive in my last post. And your right saving is easier when you know what your aiming at. I have some big decisions to make as I have applied for a job which is in the daytime. Going to involve more paid childcare and potential much more stress if the kids are ill but maybe, maybe then I'd be less tired as I wouldn't be coming in so late at night. No sure. See if they are interested in giving me the job before seeing to the consequences too much.

Working tomorrow as a one off and seeing family today, and we have found a nice lodger that will move in in age weeks time. Do need to get a peice of future for that room and empty it of the remaining bits and peices.
Stressful times, need to build in more rest time.
  • We spent quite alot yesterday, £7 in a charity shop and £7 in Morrisons as a snack for LO as a reward for doing well at her hospital appointment and as cups to try and get them to drink more.

Realised cos we are still settling into this house we are still spending on pot plants etc which I use to make it homely. I aware that I have really got the itchiness bug to spend- think that really the reality is life is tough at the moment and so I just want to spend- spend spend as if that will fix it. Having the long term goal if more holidays etc will be nice.
  • We are back from our holiday, have a relatively thrifty time eg. Playong but the Lake in the water and not charging off and buying things like the £35 boat trip. The trip was fun and now I'm back to earth with a fun grabbing bump. Spent lots yesterday argh, think that I can often stop spending then spend loads again, think that shopping in peace is so rare that, I also think that if I like something and then see the same item again then I tend to buy it, so I need to give what's going on their more thought.
