We exchanged last week, complete next week, what checks are our mortgage lender likely to do on us before releasing funds on completion day? Not worried, just curious!
Context...joint mortgage, both PAYE, LTV 57%, original offer released 36 hours after application received, mainstream high street lender, via broker.
Thanks.

Also following as I'm in the same position!
How long have you had your mortgage offer for and who is your mortgage with?
My last property I completed end 2018, I had 3 months from mortgage offer to completion and there were never any checks carried out other than first credit check. This was with Leeds BS.
My new property, it will have been 5 months from offer to completion so I am fully expecting additional checks to be carried out. I'm worried (but shouldn't be because nothing has changed) as I am an overthinker!0
