work - what to do next

At the age of 51 I now find myself out of work and at a loss on what to do next.
Mortgage free, no dependents and the recent interest rate rises have given me the chance to scape by on my savings. Ideally I'd like to 'top up' by earning 12.5k in as short a timeframe as possible then kickback and relax.
Anyone else been in this position. I've looked at becoming a supermarket delivery driver or maybe a postman but short hours and low pay make the 12.5k not to easy to accomplish.
Maybe I am being too picky but hoping someone can share an experience.

Are there any realistic alternatives to becoming a delivery driver or a postman? If not, then you've got your answer. If there are, investigate the other options - and consider whether your aim of earning £12.5K is achievable in the timeframe you have in mind. If not, you need to change that bit of thinking too!
Very best of luck.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0
