Yes, I thought that might be a good option for all of us seeing as Homes England aren't being much help.0

Is there a way to ask him to tweet or speak about this? I'm thinking that maybe then the media will actually take a note as well and something can be done before hundreds of other sale chains or remortgages collapse...
everyone needs to be contacting their MPs!
I have tweeted too ( joined Tweeter just for this) and I will also contact our MP this morning. I'm hoping people will start getting a response soon before more of them find themselves in impossible situations.
We need some form of collective action. Would anyone be happy to set this up?
Also, I would need some hep drafting the blurb1 -
My MP just confirmed:
Thank you for your email and for sharing your concerns with me. I was sorry to hear of the difficulties with the Help to Buy Scheme and I do appreciate how concerning this must be for those affected.
I will raise this matter directly with Homes England to request a response to the points you have raised.
Kind regards

Homes England are chasing their tale and taking responsibility - I got a reply within 30 minutes of me sending a detailed email complaining about the whole situation with a very robotic 'contact the Help to Buy Customer service bla bla', I went back to them once again highlighting that the whole reason I am reaching out is that the HTB team are not responding, only for them to reply: 'here's the HTB complaints email address'. No accountability, no escalation, absolutely nothing!2

marmitesocks said:I am happy to set up a petition - but what is our ask exactly?

I've been thinking about this since I suggested it this morning. I guess our ask would be to ensure that anyone financially or otherwise affected by this scandal (particularly as it comes in the middle of a cost of living and mortgage crisis) receive compensation, and that there be an independent review (I don't know if we want to ask for a specific form such as a parliamentary enquiry or an independent enquiry) into how this service was given to a company without infrastructure to handle the customers it had.
Does anyone have any other thoughts? I'm happy to give you a hand drafting it marmitesocks if you want to do that through messages and then come back here to get people's thoughts before posting.
It's not like I have anything else to do while I'm on hold.4
