TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “Magic x Disney Elemental (Online/On-air)” (the “Competition”). 

 

These terms and conditions (the “Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside  ourgeneral competition terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html (the “General Terms”) which will also apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail.  

 

 

 

1.ENTRY ROUTES AND COSTS	Entries are restricted to one entry per person.      Entry to the Competition is available via the following routes:   Online at https://planetradio.co.uk/magic/competitions/      Online entry is free of charge.
2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN	Listeners must pre-register at https://planetradio.co.uk/magic/competitions/ for their chance to win    Pre-registration for this competition is open from Monday 26th June 00:01 and closes Wednesday 12th July 23:59.    Once online to enter the competition the entrants will be asked to tell us their name and contact details and their ‘opposites react' story. We want to know if you have a favourite food combination that shouldn’t got together but does? Or if you and your other half are complete opposites? Entries will be judged on how entertaining, compelling and how deserving the entry is. All entries will be judged by the Magic Drive production team, the production manager, and an independent judge.    ON-AIR COMPETITION:  There will be two winners announced on-air on Friday 7th July.   For the on-air competitions we will be shortlisting entries from the open of the competition entry period on the 26/06/2023 at 00.01 until 06/07/2023 at 11:00.  On shortlisting, we will require the nominators to coherently explain their entry and discuss their reasoning as to why they deserve to be entered into the chance of winning. The entry must be compelling and match the entry that was entered online.    On being called during the entry period does not mean that the entrant has won, and they will only win on being told they are the winner by the production team on 6thJuly.     The selected winners will be contacted no later than 4pm on Thursday 6th July to confirm they are the winner of the prize  Two winners will be selected through the judging process and announced on Friday 7th July.   One winner will be announced on Magic Radio between 10am – 1pm   One winner will be announced on Magic Radio between 1pm - 4pm  The first name, hometown and entry of the selected winners will be read out on-air.   The entries who are selected as the winners will win the prize (Outlined in Section 5: The Prize)  ONLINE COMPETITION:  There will be one winner of the online competition.  For the online competitions we will be shortlisting entries from the open of the competition entry period on the 26/06/2023 at 00.01 until the close of the entry period on Wednesday 12th July 23:59  The entry who is selected as the winners will win the prize (Outlined in Section 5: The Prize    All final decisions will rest with the Magic Radio Production Team.    The Magic Radio Production Team reserve the right to pre-record any part of this competition with contestants before the 'as-live' broadcast.
3. 4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS	ON-AIR/ONLINE COMPETITION:  Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry.   Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter.  We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.  If you or any other person at your household has won a prize valued at £500 or more on any Bauer brand in the past 6 months, you nor they are not eligible to enter or win this competition. 5. THE PRIZE	ON-AIR/ONLINE COMPETITION:    Three winners will receive the following two prizes (the “Prize”):    Boating holiday of 3 nights, courtesy of Le Boat   CINEMA PACKAGE  Prize package for four people includes:   • Return taxi transfers from winner's home to cinema for one evening  • 12 month cinema pass (excludes central London cinemas) for 4 people   • £25 per person allowance for snacks at the cinema for one cinema trip   • Family dinner before/after cinema to the value of £150 for one evening    The Prizes are provided by Le Boat and Element (the “Prize Provider”). We are not responsible for any aspect of the Prize, including unsatisfactory quality or late delivery or a prize winner being unable to take up any aspect, or the entirety of the prize due to their own circumstances or restrictions.     LE BOAT T&CS’s:   a. The prize is provided by Crown Travel Limited t/a Le Boat (“Le Boat”). The prize is one (1) x Le Boat canal boat holiday cruise of up to three (3) nights for up to four (4) people in any of Le Boat’s destinations excluding Italy and Canada. 1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTS. By entering this Competition, you are consenting to our use of your entry both to publicise this Competition, our radio station or any other radio station which we own or control. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you have submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you any remuneration therefore and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize if applicable. We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had. 

 

1. MISCELLANEOUS.  

 

• Entries which do not comply with these Terms or the General Competition Terms and Conditions will not be accepted and any entries may be disqualified if we have any reason to suspect that there is a breach of, or non-compliance with, these Terms. 

• Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable. In the event of any dispute about any answers given and whether they are correct, we reserve the right to amend what we deem a correct answer, however we are not obliged to, and our decision in either case is final and no correspondence will be entered into.  

• We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.  

• You are responsible for all costs of entry and where necessary, obtaining the bill payer’s permission. Please refer to your tariff with your network provider for information about charges you may incur for entry into our competitions via any SMS or phone call entry route.  

• We accept no liability for network, technical or signal errors, issues or failures experienced by entrants when entering the competition or at any stage during the mechanic of the competition.  

• Whilst on-air, you must not make any inappropriate, profane, indecent, harmful or offensive statements. If you do so we reserve the right to take you off-air immediately and disqualify you from the competition. You may be also disqualified from the competition at any time if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners. Any prize already won may be withdrawn and re-awarded to another entrant. 

• As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition or any element of the Prize. 

 

We may cancel, end or suspend the Competition where we are required to do so in circumstances outside our control. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any stage during the Competition if such amendment is necessary to facilitate the administration of the Competition.
