Council tax question

I currently live with my family (partner and two children) in a house owned by us. We pay council tax at 100% rate. For work reasons my partner will need to move to and live in another address for a few years (they will visit the current home frequently but this will no longer be their main residence apparently). Would I be eligible for 25% council tax reduction?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Probably not. Your partner has not totally vacated the family home as they will continue to return there. There were many cases concerning armed services personnel who lived away from the family home whilst on active service. It was held that the 25% Single Person Discount was not applicable in such casesIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
