Property Administration

Is this a mainly male or female roll? I’m a male that has experience in all the aspects of the job advertised so have applied.
Now I’m thinking are there many male property admins? I know we live in a world of inclusion, but just wondering. Are there many out there?

Any particular reason why there wouldn’t be?All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Not something I've ever put much thought into, however most (if not all) the property administrators I have come across over the years have been female. Just my experience, I haven't dealt with thousands of property administrators.
I wouldn't let that put you off applying though.1 -

If you've got experience in all aspects of the job advertised, your chances are as good as anyone else's, male or female - so very good luck and I hope you succeed in getting the job.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!1 -
I'm not male but I have been a property administrator at a relatively large firm. The environment was mixed sex, but with a significantly greater number of females. That ought not be an issue, surely? You might find that you enjoy working with women; some of us talk about interesting things such as politics and art, and most don't bite.
On a serious note, however, I do think that female managers are more willing to hire males in 'female' roles than male managers are to take on women in 'male' ones. You shouldn't have a problem in that regard, therefore. My managers were female, exclusively, but none seemed to give a stuff about gender and happily took on men.
Property administration is, as Lily Allen (I think) described it 'an all right job, but it's not a career'. You'll more than likely end up in a clean and tidy office doing fairly repetitive tasks for something between the minimum wage and the bottom end of a decent salary. Some customers will be nice, some will shout at you and the vast majority won't care very much. The work itself won't be intellectually taxing, provided you can grasp the basics, but can be laborious. It's surprising how lackadaisical some can be about their own premises.
Most of your colleagues will be young people seeking stop gap employment or a way into financial services or the legal profession proper, or slightly older married types wanting an income to supplement whatever principal earner husband/wife is getting. That does skew the job towards women, of course, owing to the social construction of women's roles within workplaces. Interestingly I have worked with married (to males) gay men in similar circumstances - plus ca change...0
