HSBC first mortgage payment

We finally exchanged yesterday and are completing on the 28th!!! 🥳🥳🥳
When would the first mortgage payment be taken? HSBC said they wont know till after the mortgage is drawn down. So can I expect them to take it in June or would it be July? Anyone with recent HSBC experience? Thanks

My first HSBC mortgage payment was roughly 1 month after we exchanged (27th April, first payment was taken 1st June)... Worth noting the first payment was slightly higher as it included interest for the 4 days of April.2
