Tax Refund Letter from HMRC

For info, OH received a letter yesterday advising she paid too much tax last year. Info provided to claim refund online or in 6 weeks HMRC will issue a cheque.

Does it definitely says issue in 6 weeks or she'll receive it in 6 weeks?

Letter says if the refund is not requested online you will get a cheque in about 6 weeks.

if you login to your Government Gateway you can request the payment to be sent to your bank account, if you don't you will get a cheque in the post,
