Hello,

Once I have submitted my bank statements to my morgage broker do they send these onto the banks for a remortgage or do they just keep them on file? I have a few gambling transactions and worried it will go against me.

It varies from lender to lender. Some want them, some don't.

Do gambling transactions go against you?

Again, it varies from lender to lender. It depends on the amount and frequency. Two or three small bets each month is unlikely to be an issue for most lenders. Hundreds of pounds and daily transactions probably will be.

I played online bingo and it wasn’t an issue, but also not huge amounts, £10-£20 here and there.
Ask your broker if they think it will be an issue?

Don't worry about it. If the broker has done their job properly, they will have seen the gambling transactions and recommended a bank that will not kick it out because of that.

If they felt it was problem gambling, they would have asked you about it.
