there is no catch. i hadnt been to hairdresser in 5 years, (so major work req) i thought it would be a student but got a call on xmas eve and arranged appointment for19th jan.got there yesterday and she was senior stylist. my hair looks amazing. i was so happy i gave her a major tip. when she gave me her card i discovered it would have cost me £28.50. what a fab freebee:T :j

Just wanted to say that this was a fantastic freebie!!

I dont change hairdressers lightly as I am very fussy about who does my hair so took up this offer with some trepidation. I applied for my voucher in January, got a letter from my nearest participating salon in February (one I'd never heard of) and finally got around to making an appointment for last Saturday 26th April - some 4 months after first applying. The salon was lovely, very classy and the staff were friendly and professional. The cut is marvellous and I was very pleased with the result, they have probably gained a new customer - which is why they took part in the first place no doubt, so everyone's a winner. For me, this is one of the best freebies I have had to date!!! :T

So if anyone who sees these things advertised and wonders about the quality of salons participating, then from my experience I can tell you that it is a first rate experience. Thank you MSE!!!

Well I never heard from them about this offer so I tracked down a number for the Hair group and called them - apparently they are still 'processing applications' and will 'send out notifications soon'. What total lies since the poster above got her notification in Feb... I guess you have to be lucky with these offers. I live in London and have tried the Hair group on a couple of occasions only end up disappointed.
