Hi,
Im a mature student doing an Undergraduate Degree and have recently moved address from Scotland to England. We have applied for council tax exemption here with the local council. They have asked me to clarify and provide details regarding the student loans and bursary. Will i be expected to pay my council tax from my student loan and bursary?
Is that income factored in by some councils?
The council in Scotland saw my council exemption letter from the University and i never heard from them again. After sending the same form to this council they want to see how much i get in student loans.

It’s likely to verify that you really are a full-time student. If the ‘we’ is yourself and a partner and that is everyone in your household then they would be able to apply for a 25% Council Tax exemption.Fashion on the Ration
