Can I change my Government Gateway user ID?

Not too sure where to post this, but this one seems most relevant.
My computer has 3 different people's Government Gateway user ID details saved by Chrome. Mine, my wife's and her father's (who she cares for).
It's not the end of the world, but whenever the Gov.uk site is needed, 3 user IDs pop up, which are just 12 numbers, and it's always a guess as to who's is who's. Not until the code is sent to the relevant phone number can we tell which one has been selected.
Is there any option to personalise the username at all?
Thank you

I had the same problem a couple of years ago when I had 3 user ID’s on my pc and I never did find a way to change them. As they are allocated to you by HMRC it is how their systems identify you and I assume if you were to change them it would confuse their software.
You may have to go old school and put the id’s into a notebook or a word document. No need for passwords if they are saved. Then when you find out which ID belongs to which family member via texts you can use that for future reference.1 -
You probably only need to strap a note to the screen with the last number of the gateway ID and the initial of the person it belongs to.The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.2

So this morning I've created a word document with the necessary details.
It's not too difficult to look up first, but would be easier it user IDs could be personalised.
Thanks.1 -
I also have three, one for me, one for my wife and one for clients. I printed them off, attached them to a pice of card, write the name on the back and they have been in my wallet for 25 years!1

I have 3 on my computer, not difficult to remember which one relates to who.

Use a proper password manager like Bitwarden where you can do things like naming each variant rather than Chrome's password manager.2
