Tax Free Childcare - How Much To Deposit Monthly

I can’t find a straight forward answer to this anywhere, so hoping you can help, please!
I’ve previously been enrolled in the voucher scheme, but due to job change I’m no longer eligible and this is my first time using the government gateway account for this.
I understand the maximum gov contribution is £500 every three months, so to get that maximum am I right in thinking you need to deposit £668 each month?
Thanks in advance

I’m no good with the maths as you’ve added but you get £2 contribution for every £8 you depositI just deposit as I go but my costs are just a couple of days after school clubs so I pay in my actual childcare costs each month which then gets topped up and goes towards some school holiday club payments1

Or maybe deposit to get the maximum £500 every 3 months is £825 per month.
Maths being that you get 20% top up, so 20% of £825 is £165. £165 each month is £495 top up every three months.
I think that’s right. I’ll try it and see what happens.0
