Pepper Money

Hello,

I'm new to all this but I'm remortgaging my house to buy my mum out as we inherited 50/50. This will be my first mortgage. Our advisor submitted our full application today after been accepted with a DIP. Pepper money have asked for our reasons for any missed payments in the last 6 years and the reasons for my 4 defaults. How much detail do I go into? Pages? Do I go into every single missed payment? I can easily explain the defaults but I don't know what missed payments I had 6 years ago for other bills and I'm pretty sure there aren't that many.

Thanks!

A sentence or 2 would be fine.

What I tend to do with my applications is to see if I can group them. For example if there are 5 defaults, 3 of them from one period and 2 from another. I might put something like:

The 3 defaults registered between January and February 2022 were due to being made redundant and having to prioritise rent over credit cards.

The 2 defaults registered in April 2020 were due to being in hospital for a couple of weeks and were an oversight.

No need to go into war and peace.
