Bankruptcy in Northern Ireland

Hello all

I am going to have to declare personal bankruptcy. I'm in Northern Ireland and have a couple of queries about procedure if anyone can help?

Do the forms have to be witnessed by a solicitor? Can I contact any firm and how much is it likely to cost?

Once I submit the forms to the court what are the time frames? I contacted the courts who said it would be listed for assessment within about a week and a decision made then it would be handed over to the official receiver. How long would it take to see the OR? At what point do they actually take your assets (house etc)?

I have a holiday booked (paid for by family), will that be a problem?

Sorry for long post. I'm just trying to figure things out.

Cheers
