Tesco Clubcard - Turn points into a voucher

I've logged into my clubcard account and I've noticed that there's an option to turn you current balance into a voucher, which states;

You can turn 200 of your points into a £2.00 voucher

Request vouchers and they should be in your Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app in seconds.

• Every 50 points equals 50p in vouchers

• When you request vouchers, your quarterly statements, vouchers and statements will now be sent digitally

• What you need to know before you request voucher

does anybody know what happens to the surplus points?  So if I have 220 points and I turn the 200 points into a voucher, do the remaining 20 points just get lost or do they go back into my points balance?

They go back into your balance.

I gave up trying to extend vouchers, then I missed the extended deadline. Why didn't Tesco email their loyal customers with the deadline change, given their technical problems.
