I need 35 years contributions to get full state pension, so do they have to be consecutive years? I have 2 years 'not full'. 2010/11. 2011/12. I have 28 full years. I am not due to retire until 2042😩

35 years is only applicable to those born this century. Anyone with a prior to 2016 NI history is on a hybrid scheme needing as many as it takes - usually between 28 and 49 according to actual case reports on here. Years do not need to be consecutive, you currently have 28 years with another 19 years available to get to the full amount. The important figure is the current amount at April 2022 or 2023 as shown on your forecast, that will decide how many more years you need - and your forecast actually tells you that number. Quite simple maths, (£203.85 - that amount) / £5.82 = number of additional years required
