I recently bought an Asus VivoBook X1500EA i5 500GB SSD 8GB RAM Intel Iris graphics, 15.6" 1920x1080.
Well balanced, fast, excellent screen
It is available from Currys, John Lewis, AO, Argos. ... around £450. Come down about £100 in the last couple of months.
