    I think the HTB has been made out to be quite confusing but in reality when I completed it was straight forward. Just sent them the 10% deposit, and they sent me the completion report which had the deposit - their legal fees + HTB bonus, so rather than me having to pay them any legal fees they knocked this off the balance owed so I got back around £3k so didn’t have to pay anything other than deposit and then get cash back.
