Happy New Year everyone!
Update on my debts....Another one gone
Cabot - 1000 - 650 - 200 - ZERO
CRS- 997.84 - 990 - 986 - 970 - ZERO
Pra Group 1 - 740 - 735 - 730 - ZERO
Pra Group 2 - 3210-3205 - 3200 - 3180 - 3170
Pra Group 3 - 2880 - 2875 - 2870 - 2850 - 2840
Holiday - 1186.00 - 700 - 550 - ZERO
Total - 10013.84 - 9155 - 8536 - 7000 - 6010
I have been offered a settlement from Pra Group 2 for 1420, 50% which is such a good offer from them but the other half me wants to leave it as it drops off my credit report at the end of this month so wondering if I could get it less than that at a later date. BUT i want to start getting sorted for my mortgage application so should I just pay it now?!?
I have a trip to DLP at the end of the month which I have saved the spending money for already.
I have opened a new bank account for when I move and will be saving into there for house things.
I need to do a new up to date SOA to really get everything in order and make sure I'm not throwing money away, I had some silly spending over xmas but hopefully get back on track for 2024.0 -
Hi just read your diary, well done for clearing those debts!
I would grudge paying anything to a debt that is due to drop off in a month. Surely if it drops off in a month mortgage providers will not be aware of its existence when you go to apply? I would keep hold of it.1 -

I forgot they look at bank statements! I don’t know how it works regarding debts that aren’t on the credit report and if you need to disclose them, might be worth asking on the mortgage board how that would viewed by providers just to be on the safe side.1
