Coffee made and drunk so I'm ready to face the day. I'm heading down to Glasgow to the matinee performance of Strictly Ballroom. As I keep saying, I'm not a fan of musical theatre then end up seeing one. Like Book of Mormon. 😂 Anyway, this one got a rave review so I'm off shortly. I'm taking the opportunity to take some stuff to a CS and a little light shopping too, just some fresh veggies.I hope that everyone can enjoy the forecasted scorcher, Glasgow will be cooler than here which will be good for the performers.Happy Saturday to all.8

Morning All
Bright and sunny with a breeze so the washing should be dry quickly today. I brought home some of the school sports team tops yesterday - put on the line at 5.30 and dry by 7.
Have a good trip Gers and enjoy the show.
Hope you enjoyed the family get together Scarlet.
What a shame you couldn't taste your meal Coxy, hope you improve quickly.
Just off for a loch swim, we like to go early to avoid the crowds who will be along later although rain is forecast late afternoon so that may put them off.
Shopping and allotment today and a facial later.
Have a good weekend, take care. XX7 -

Morning all, well my day didn't go well as Clumsy Clara was on the rampage 😣 After ironing the necessary stuff my iron started leaking ( I still have some other stuff to do) which then took out our electrics and now my alarm clock radio won't let me change the minutes ! I also noticed something had leaked in the fridge so took out a shelf for washing but then dropped it on the floor, the noise brought himself running and my ears were ringing as the noise was that loud, but luckily it didn't shatter. The only thing that came right was the fence panel delivery as it was early in the afternoon and gave me time to brush them all down ready for painting today. I hope I can get them done on one side at least before we get the forecasted thunderstorms. If I'm out in the garden hopefully I can't break anything today 😂
Take care all, have a good day.

Morning everyone
Looks like it's going to be a nice day - little one will be here later so we'll spend the afternoon in the garden.
I have a few jobs to do this morning and need to walk along to Homebase for some strawberry plants for nursery.
I've had a nice chat with eldest DD while I was still in bed - she's spending the day at the outdoor pool - it's just a short tram ride away from her apartment. She has lovely sunny hot weather in Nuremberg.
Poppy - enjoy your visit from your son. Camelot - enjoy your swim - I bet it's cold?
Gers - enjoy your theatre trip.
Izzy - enjoy the sunshine - try not to do any jobs! You always seem to be so busy x
Iris, Nanny and everyone who pops in - hope you all have a good day x7 -
Morning all
Beautiful day here it’s really hot already and it seems very little wind at last ! I have a wash on the go which can be hung out and OH will put his work clothes in later.
I want to head to matalan today to look for some really light weight pyjamas for our holiday, I am struggling to sleep in the heat here so Greece will be much worse although we will have air conditioning, will pop into home bargains too.
Dinner tonight will be a bbq 😃 I have a bit of brisket which I will slow cook and then finish on the bbq, also some halloumi and a salad and new potatoes for the others.
OH is at the boot sale and DD still in bed as she didn’t get in from work till 11.30 last night, so all peaceful here.
Bit of housework to do this morning and then out to plant a few more plants that seem to have found their way into my garden 👀
Have good days all and enjoy the weather xxx7 -
Good afternoon all, very warm here. DGS had an early cup match kick off because of the predicted temps. Through to the semi finals now
We went back to DS2s and sat in with the kids so he could go and have a look at a job, then came back home after picking up a bag of compost to try and entice those plants I got for DS2 to grow a bit more!
Sounds like next door but 1 are preparing for an outdoor party, seen him carting a crate of beer in. DH was going to pressure wash the flags at the back but it won't switch on. we've not had it that long either ( edit... he changed the fuse and it worked, thank goodness otherwise there might have been a lot of moaning
We're also having a bbq tea, we had plenty in the freezer from last time.Oh dear Nan, sounds like you've been unlucky!Hope you all enjoy your day, I'll be the one sat under the parasol laterx
