Maybe something changed in the meantime but there were quite a few threads in the past saying that on the gov.uk website, the date that people had to buy that year by was still showing as April for a long time after it had been extended to July.

I think it's relatively easy for the gov.uk website to be updated. 

What is more difficult to do, and may not have happened because of that, is to amend the programming behind the display of  peoples individual NI records and Pension forecasts to show the deadline date and cost for purchasing back individual years.

The forecast doesn't give deadlines for filling old years and on the NI record there is a massive box at the top saying the deadline has been extended.  Also, I am pretty sure I have seen the July deadline on people's non-full years, so it looks as though it is all in place.

This is an utter disgrace. A real scandal – on top of the scandal of the WASPI women – and at a time when inflation is raging, utility prices are sky high, and the most basic shopping basket goes up week on week. And all this in a country that now has no safety net.

I hope the payment I made (proof of which I attached) can connect with my lifetime payments and that, if I have overpaid, I will be refunded and, if I have underpaid, alerted. I hope I will be sent a proper calculation. But I don’t hold much hope because this is now a country without hope in which none of the people supposedly running it take responsibility.
