Morning
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Dry underfoot, but f cloudy - getting warmer.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work, I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and my porridge whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy..
Dinner last night was LO chicken and mushroom pie, chips and beans - that's all eaten. Remembered to get meat out to defrost overnight, gammon and chicken for tonight, I'll serve that with gratin potato and peas/broc, with gravy.
Work was ok yesterday - we'll see how today goes. Last day - on day's off until Monday.
Keep safe and well x

Morning All
It's quite dull this morning with a bit of a breeze but due to get sunny again this afternoon - just in time for sports day.
The HT's planning for events in school is shocking, he asked me at 4pm yesterday if I would go and buy tea and coffee for the parents! Really? It's to be 20 degrees, there's no power on the pitch and he somehow thinks we can carry an urn of boiling water up there - daft man. Anyway I've bought ice poles that I will have to ask the dinner ladies to freeze and hope they are ready for later.
Apart from that it wasn't a bad day at work, we had the pupil of the year awards and I had a lovely time in the park with the children, they were a credit to the school.
Hoping everyone is well and enjoying some sunshine, take care. XX8 -

Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing8

Morning folks. After a dull start yesterday afternoon was really hot again. The highlight for me was the neck, shoulder and back massage I had. I was a tangle of really painful knots which the therapist worked hard to unravel. I'm booked in early next month, I'd have gone earlier but she's off to Kos for a couple of weeks.I managed to sit outside for a lovely couple of hours as the sun moved across to hide behind my garden wall. Once it'd stopped beaming I got the hose out to give the grass a good soaking. It's got some green bits showing through again.Today I've got an early afternoon aqua bike session, I managed to get a cancellation so am very pleased. Apart from that I have no idea. 😀
Scarlet - when's your Oz trip?Camelot - end of term is in sight!Izzy - good news about your OH.Coxy and Snoozers - I hope you're on the mend. Happy anniversary Coxy and MrCoxy.DP1 - and wee hugs to your little one.Take care folks. Happy Thursday to all.9 -
Morning. Grey and dull again but the sun will come out later like it did yesterday. Spent nearly all day int he garden doing a bit of this and that, paid for it last night though and today, I'm so creaky I can barely move. But everything, or almost everything is potted on or potted up or watered, so there's only a little bit left to do. OH has a cold and his SF has a 60th birthday this weekend, I'm hoping he doesn't give it to me because I have to drive on Saturday morning to fetch stuff for the party. Someone may be coming round to fetch some pots later, and I must think of some supper for me, OH wanted the left over enchiladas last night but we had mushroom risotto and sausges instead [ omg, the sausages were so full of garlic! that should clear OHs cold in no time] so he can have them tonight and I'll have something else. And the plumber search continues...But I have got my CritAir and Swiss motorway pass for this year so that's one job done.Happy Anniversary Coxy! Well done for compromising [both of you] for that many years! Scarlet, have a nice time tomorrow..Camelot, I'd say 'men!' in an exasperated voice but I know it could be equally, 'women' too..I'll go with 'ha! no common sense' instead
Izzy, I'm not sure you would be able to cope with sitting still for as long as it took for a new knee to bed in.. Gers, the massage sounds lovely, I keep promising myself one. Enjoy underwater biking! nanny, hope your shenanigans with the fence same off well..Take care all, shout out to the mia and unwell...

Morning all
Sunny here again but still windy, it seems to settle a bit in the afternoons and is usually baking by then.
Off to collect my private client today and take him to his work he had a great day yesterday we were watering plants and weeding a bit he really enjoys physical work, today we are going into my old cafe to bake a cake which he will really enjoy as he loves baking.
Not sure about dinner tonight will go and look in the freezer after this.
Coxy Happy Anniversary to you both xx
Have good days all and take care xx9 -
Morning all, the sun has disappeared here too. We had lovely sun all day yesterday so I spent the time in the garden weeding, cutting the hedge and some shrubs back into shape, then tidying the top patio which had become a dumping ground.... again. I also got all the washing done and dried but it's still waiting to be sorted and put away.
Today we are going to a caravan shop as we're looking for a new toilet valve then I want to call in the wood shop on the way home and order some new fence panels for the back garden as they are on they're last legs, a strong gust of wind just might finish them off. I was very shocked at the price when I looked online, how much 😲 better take out another mortgage !!
taff hope OH keeps his cold to himself and gets rid of it asap.
Camelot hope sports day goes without a hitch, despite the HT 😁
Gers glad you're knot free.
Izzy glad DH is getting better but take care of yourself too. Think we're all guilty of looking after others and then forgetting to do so for ourselves.
Scarlet enjoy your trip tomorrow.
Right better get a shifty on. Have a good day whatever you are doing, hugs to anyone in need. Take care all.

Morning everyone
Cloudy and dull here this morning but a bit milder than yesterday - when I was watching TV last night I had to have my fleecy blanket.
Little one came up for a few hours in the afternoon - she was full of beans and wanted lots of cuddles. We also had a long discussion about her bowels! I don't suppose many 4 year olds even know they've got bowels. She has to have laxative put into her tube every hour and it's stlll quite unpleasant for her when she goes to the loo ...sorry to anyone of a delicate disposition!
Anyway she sat for ages painting and chatting and then we were playing a game when her mummy came.
Gers - I have no idea how you cycle in a swimming pool but enjoy.
Camelot - you'll be glad to break up to get some peace from your head teacher...I admit my first thought was 'men!'
Just had a nice chat to DD who has today and tomorrow off for a bank holiday - she lives in Bavaria which has a lot of extra religious holidays. They always get the Thursday and Friday off which makes for a nice long weekend but also means all the shops are shut...she'll probably spend a lot of time at the park or the outdoor swimming pool.
Well I'm waffling so better go...work at lunchtime x9 -
Hello everyone, hope all are well or recovering. Sunny today but not that warm. I've had my Mr O delivery nice and early, and my veg box has just been, and a parcel due later. I might have to track it and suggest a place to put it as I think I might be out picking up DGS. The traffic wasn't too bad last night, I think it was later on when the concert goers came out of the stadium. It's on again tonight , we couldn't hear anything, the wind must have been in the wrong direction.I'm cooking a chicken for tea , probably have salad with it but have plenty of options now.I did pull up a few weeds in the front garden and got stung by a nettle masquerading as the yellow plants that are quite tall! No dock leaves around eitherRight feeling peckish now so I'll make some lunch. Sending warm wishes to everyone x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)5
