The ballot only finished yesterday, it'll be a day or two before they announce it and I'm pretty sure they won't get that far (speaking as a BAA employee)

Thanks HB, I hope it doesn't but we'll just have to wait and see. I'm really hoping they announce it before Sunday when we fly out though so we can deal with it from here rather than in Canada.

Thank heavens for that! Our trip won't be affected... I feel for the people who will be, but at least they've avoided the Christmas and new Yr travellers.

    Yep.

Mum was chatting to one of her friends last night and her both her daughter and her daughter's BF work for OUP. BF is a financal director who has been sent to the USA to sort out a problem over there. OUP are flying Nic business class to Washington for Christmas so they don't have to spend it apart!!

    I want to go!!!

    Morning!

I am trying to have a productive day today so if you see me on here too often, please pop round and disconnect my broadband or something. I have vaccumed the living room, put Natasha's booster seat together (so she can sit at the table properly, and I can get rid of the massive high chair that takes up half of the dining area), done most of the washing up (couple of pans etc from last night still soaking), and made a start on tidying the living room.

Ryan is off school again though (he wasn't quite right, and as it's the last day of term he wont be missing anything, so I let him sleep it off and he only got up a little while ago so he must have needed it) so it is slow progress, as he is making mess quicker than I can clear it!
