Just a suggestion but do you need a CC? A lot of current accounts now offer Virtual cards specifically for this purpose? I am on a self managed DMP and managed to get an account set up with Revolut and use that for my online purchases? The 365 Day 1p Challenge 2026 #26 £366.60/£667.95Save £12k in 2026 #12 £5288.83/£7500

A credit card for me, with a small and manageable limit, builds a positive credit history for me. Something that a virtual Revolut card won't do?
What about purchase protection? Do you get that from Revolut?
There are times for me when a higher limit would be useful i.e. car hire in the US. Hire a car there for say 5 days, and a virtual card, pre-paid card or debit card in most cases, if not all, won't help with insurance / holds etc.
