Amazon faulty installation

On 16th April I had a new washing machine installed by Amazon, I’ve had a plumber round today to investigate a leak in my kitchen, and the plumber pulled out the machine and saw the leak, a badly fitted inlet pipe to the machine. I’ve got a video and photos of this, but as it’s been leaking for several weeks it appears to have damaged my floor. I live in a park home and my floor is made of chipboard, and until the floor is dried out I don’t know how much damage there is. I do have insurance…….but has anyone ever had any luck with Amazon paying for the damage?
I’ve been in touch with them and they want details etc, but should I also contact my insurance company just in case……..
As it’s a park home replacing the floor and making good the damage can be a bit complicated……….I’d be grateful for any input and advice
thanks.
Could someone post this to the correct board please, I don’t know how to 🤦♀️
thanks.
