Morning All
Overcast this morning, as it was yesterday but the sun is due to make an appearance soon. Yesterday was just right for me, warm, sunny and a gentle breeze. Washing on the line although I struggled to find a load.
The decking is all finished, just got to put everything back in place this evening - so glad it's done and I can enjoy sitting out now. Typically I ran out of oil so had to hot foot it to Screwfix for another tin! I've ordered a screen for the bins, they look so ugly out there but look worse at the front of the house.
Ruby, did you finish your decorating?
Enjoy your garden Gers.
Hugs to those not feeling 100% and happy holidays to those going away.
Work was good yesterday, managed to catch up on just about everything, just a few things to get done before the end of term now (3 weeks today!).
Hope you all have a good day, take care. XX

Good morning, thanks for starting NMLC.It's a cloudy grey start here, probably be cold as well.Belated happy birthday wishes Nan.Ruby, sorry to hear about your foot, hope it doesn't get infected.Snoozer, maybe the tide will turn this week and everyone will start feeling better, you've had a terrible few weeks.Your hub seems to be doing well Izzy, hope it continues. We are going to put a few things in the caravan today, we are going away next Monday, but before that we've got a night away on Merseyside to celebrate 2 family birthdays. We aren't taking the van there, we're staying in a Travelodge over Friday night and returning on Saturday, .If we put as much as we can in the van now it'll save a rush on Sunday. It's all go isn't it. I would like to defrost the freezer today as well, and there are the usual other jobs to do.Hope everyone has a good day, thinking of our poorlies.Take care folks.10

Morning folks. It's a bit overcast this morning so I'm hoping that it'll burn off, the forecast is good. Yesterday turned into another glorious day, I only managed to stay outside for half an hour. I pulled together a small washing load which soon dried. First thing l got to the delivery office and post office to send off two returns and post a couple of cards. I also picked up some hydrogen peroxide ear drops to help dry out my ear properly. At teatime I went to another pool-based exercise class which I enjoyed, it wasn't as intense as the one last week but still OK. An added bonus was the great shower afterwards, my electric shower is pretty puny.Today my cleaner is coming at lunchtime so I need to whizz round putting things away, the clothes I've left in a pile upstairs and my ever-untidy coffee table. The new garden hose arrived yesterday so that's another job to tackle, I think I've ordered one which is too long 😀 but better that way than too short.More chicken and salad for main meal.Hugs to our poorlies. Happy Tuesday to all.9

Morning all
Another beautiful day here but still that cool wind, three clients coming today and they have requested a walk so we will go on a loop around some local woods where there is a cafe to stop at and have a cool drink.
Pork chops for dinner tonight I will have some roasted veg with mine and do some new potatoes for dd and oh.
I have had a tidy through this morning and run the hoover round, I have put a wash on and that can be hung on the line.
My foot seems ok just a bit tender to walk on but it’s amazing how quickly the body heals itself.
Camelot we have a decorator coming after out holiday at 1/3 of the price of the others, I did want it done before but it can’t be helped, we just have the new mantle to fit and then that’s as much as we can do.
Izzy I’m glad your DH Is doing well xx
Have good days all and take care xx8 -
Morning all and thanks for the start nmlc x
I haven't managed to get on for a few days. Belated Happy Birthday to @nannywindow x Same day as my DSis! Happy travels to @bellabella and @TravellingAbuela x Hope your household is feeling better @snoozer x Owwww to the foot injury @RedRuby1231
My cough/sore throat has all but vanished but joy of joys, I now can't taste or smell anything (since Saturday). It's not Covid as I've tested twice. Bit annoying as all food is just 'texture' and we are out tomorrow night for our anniversary at a Thai restaurant - typical!!
I was in the office yesterday but WFH the next two days. We have DS1's little bulldog pup here today who is merrily chomping on his beloved ball-y. He's so cute.
There's some washing to do shortly and it's SW beef and mushroom stroganoff tonight. I'm also hoping to walk with a friend after dinner. SIL is back at the eating disorder clinic today. I messaged her on Friday to check in. No word from BIL who is obviously still sulking.
Have a good day everyone,

Morning everyone
Yesterday was cloudy all day till about 7pm which was annoying...it's a bit brighter this morning.
DD had little one at the RVI at Newcastle yesterday for a routine appointment and then they'd gone to a park and had a lovely time. They were just home when she started saying her tummy was sore, DD rang 111 and had to take her all the way back to the hospital. She sent a message about 3 this morning to say they were home with more medication and she's got to be referred to a gastro consultant because it keeps happening. She was hoping they'd both get a good long sleep.
Snoozer I hope your little ones are better now.
Hope everyone has a good day x11 -
Hello all, many thanks for the birthday wishes, that's another year gone, time is flying by now. When I was a child time seemed endless and a birthday was always such a long time away, now it feels like it comes around every 6 months !
I got lots of sorting, tidying and decluttering done yesterday but bashed both arms on cupboard doors so this morning I'm sporting several bruises, I'm so accident prone 😂
Today the wm is on with a clothes load but it's overcast again, I hope it clears earlier than yesterday as it was tea time before the sun arrived. I shall wash the bedding too and hang it all out as there is a brisk wind blowing.
I'm going to cook a large pot of beef mince bolognaise in the slow cooker then we'll have some for tea when DGD arrives as she's walking here after school, the rest will be portioned up and put in the freezer.
Scarlet enjoy your time away and the family birthday do.
RedRuby hope the foot gets better asap, that was painful.
Coxy glad your sore throat has gone. Hugs for your family woes.
Hope everyone has a good day. Take care all, stay safe and keep well.

Morning all, dull today but still quite warm. I'm off on a mission later to see if some stuff is still outside a house locally my friend has told me about..Potting on again today, I did a bit yesterday but there's always more to do especially now most of my stuff is in pots. Watering is never ending...Plus I need to sort out the greenhouse for it's final disposition...And there's washing to take in..Lazy day today...I made enchiladas last night so there's them for tonight as well...Maybe even one for breakfastCoxy, that's a right pain, especially if you love food...[one of my worst nightmares..
] Izzy, good luck tonight! you got this! Scarlet, happy freezer derositng, youll be the only one with a perfectly turned out freezer
dp1, hope she's ok today...Ruby, glad your foot is better...Gers, hope today is glorious too. Take care all!

Really late one from me this evening , nor did I post yesterday as DGS had a teacher training day so he came here.We went to the cinema to see Spider Man which he really enjoyed, bit noisy and in your face for me but ok. His Mum said he'd enjoyed his day when she text to say thanks. Had a plant delivery from a Sunday newspaper offer, mini pampas grasses for DS2, feel rather ripped off- massive box with 2 small pots. The grass itself looks like something you'd pull out as a weed if it was already growing!Today I've had another bus trip but was back for lunch. Had a nice chat with DF this afternoon and then made sharwarma chicken on flatbreads for the men with yogurt sauce,I had the chicken and salad.Right better water the pots at the back before they dry up!
