Im wanting to switch mortgage provider before building work finished. Therefore the current design does not have a buildings certificate or comply with building regs temporarily. My tiny kitchenette is still waiting on a fire curtain installation as Ive removed a wall. Then I plan to move the kitchen into an extension and convert old space to an office.
Is this something a bank property surveyor will pick up on as a problem to value something not compliant? Ive applied to Nationwide and they have made an appt to access the property on FRI coming.

@k4renm4c Based on the limited info in your post, sounds like it should be fine.
It’ll be based on the subjective opinion of the surveyor that visits the property on the day. This is an old version of the Nationwide Surveyor Manual which is the ‘guidance manual’ for the surveyor when doing a valuation for Nationwide. See pages 29-30.
