Have you actually ever met this person (not on the phone /web etc). How long has you known him?
Why would you take out a loan for someone else (this is a genuine question) if you don't even know where they live?
Presumably as you are such a good friend to get a loan out for over £10k and gift it to him you went to the wedding and met the wife/husband?
You know for sure he owns property?
If all of the above is true I would be letting her know exactly who paid for her wedding. I'm sure you must have mutual friends who know where he lives you can contact for the address.1 -
