My panels installed 2011, FIT with E-on. Earlier this year I moved to flux with Octopus but left my generation payment with E-on. No real issues just took a few weeks while both companies sorted everything out.
Now my Generation payment comes from E-on and my "deemed" export is now "actual" export paid from Octopus. Stats from Octoaid state I have made almost £400 from measured export in the last 4 months and the weather hasn't even been good!
My deemed payment would have been about £80 for the year3.995kWP SSW facing. Commissioned 7 July 2011. 24 degree pitch (£3.36 /W).

Thats interesting mickyduck55 - that you’ve received significantly more in export now its ‘actual’ not deemed. Like you our deemed export is only around £20 per quarter. I’m inclined to leave my generation FIT where it is, and try the Outgoing Fixed tariff at 15p per kwh exported. However I can’t see anywhere that confirms the usage / import rates - does anyone know, are they the same as the flux or agile rates? My switch is due to happen tomorrow so I can ask after that I suppose before I change tariffs.0

Also not with Flux, as Flux has its own bespoke import tariffs.

Just an update from me on this subject…..
I emailed Octopus on August 23rd asking for clarification on being able to move my export generation payments only over to them.
Having heard nothing back , a week later I emailed again saying that if they didn’t respond I’d move away from them altogether.
On September 14th I finally received a response telling me that if I wanted their export payments I’d have to move my FIT to them and their turnaround time for FIT payments was around 6 weeks !
I have tried calling them a number of times over the last week and finally today on my 3rd call of the day have managed to establish that the email information was incorrect and yes it is possible for me to do.
Either a flexible, 30 minute interval price or a 15p flat rate for export.
I have spoken to EDF my current FIT provider and they have confirmed that they would accept my taking the solar export only away from them, they did say for information, this process wasn’t reversible.
Although it’s not the best time of the year it seems like a no brainier for us to do.
Cheers OP, I would never have known.
