Morning All
Thanks for the start nmlc.
Not sunny yet, quite a nice respite from the last few days although it is to be warm and sunny again today. The decking is looking good, the pots and other stuff to put back today then the last bit to oil. Need to get it done and dried before my next door neighbour sands his and the dust flies everywhere!
Washing all dried, bedding went back on the bed and was a bit crispy! My new next door neighbours on the other side had a BBQ but didn't tell anyone to take their washing in which was a bit naughty, glad I was outside to see it before I had to wash everything again.
Shopping was done at last yesterday, Aldi was really busy at 9.30am but it was well stocked.
Hope you all had a good Sunday, hugs to those not feeling so good. Take care. XX10 -
Morning.Sunday was a glorious day again. It's so lovely after our long wet and miserable winter and spring. I went up to Oban, did a bit of shopping and then drove a bit further but soon turned back as the roads north were so busy. Just as well as my youngest nephew rang me from QLD for a long chat. It was the birthday of his oldest brother who died seven years ago., he always get so upset each year so talking to him was really good.In the late afternoon a friend biked round with his bouncy sprocker. We sat outside drinking wine and chatting away. I mentioned that I'd seen yet another car off the road at a notoriously bad bend nearby, it was embedded in the boggy land - it was his! He skidded, flew through the air and landed gently. No major damage to either human or machine.Today is promising more sunshine, I may have to sit outside more. 🌞😀 I'll rustle up a small washing load to take advantage of the heat. At teatime I have another exercise class in the pool, not my preferred time but I must do it. Lunch will be cold roasted chicken with salad bits. I need to get to the delivery office first thing to send off a return, they'll print the label there.I hope that our poorlies are getting better. Happy Monday to all.9

Morning all
Nice and bright and sunny here but still with that wind - oh how I wish it would drop !Two ladies coming today and I think we will go to a local town and have a walk around the nice park there and have a picnic lunch somewhere then a stroll around the shops.
Dinner tonight will be something with chicken I might do creamy garlic chicken as I have some mascarpone to use up, I will have some veg with mine and the others pasta or rice.
I have a meeting after work today just a general how is it going one shouldn’t take too long.
I did a bit more gardening yesterday and was walking along in my sliders when something stuck in my foot, I thought it was a stone and looked down to dislodge it and saw nothing so carried on walking and it happened again the pain was horrible so I took my shoe off to see a huge screw had gone straight through my shoe and into the sole of my foot twice 🤢
it was so painful with so much blood, luckily OH was there and helped me clean it and put a plaster on but it’s quite tender to walk on this morning, I would rather it was me than one of the dogs though.
Have good days all and take care xx10 -
Hi everyone,
Thanks for all the good wishes, we are still struggling with poorly children and hoping that this will the week when things get back to normal. Poor Laura is exhausted.
Not a lot is happening here although Brian is off to Wales for a job interview on Tuesday and Wednesday and then Laura has a photo shoot for her new acupuncture website. I'll go with her to look after Esther. It will be like old times, she was a model in her teens and I used to go with her to various shoots and fashion shows.
Glad to hear your DH is doing well Izzy.
Ruby, that sounds horrible, keep an eye on it in case it gets infected.
Have a good day.11 -
Morning all, it's overcast at the moment but it's supposed to get sunny later.
I had a lovely weekend with DGS and a great birthday celebration yesterday with all my little family here. I had a beautiful bouquet of roses, chocs, smellies and books plus lots of money.
Today will be a day of tidying up and putting the spare bedroom back to normal. I'll strip the folding bed but wait for a more sunny day to wash the bedding.
Have a lovely holiday TA and Bella. Hugs to the poorly ones.
Take care all, have a good day.

Morning everyone
Cloudy here just now but it was the same yesterday and by early afternoon it cleared and we had lovely sunshine for the rest of the day. Little one enjoyed playing outside until DD picked her up about 3pm and then I sat and read my Sunday Times for the rest of the afternoon. Also had a nice long chat with DD in Germany.
Back to work this afternoon - only 7 weeks until we break up for summer holidays!
Going to get on with some jobs this morning so I'll wish everyone a good day x11 -

Morning all..Not sunny yet. Heart nurse appointment is cancelled today, he's phoned in sick. He's ever such a nice bloke too, hope it's not anything serious. Magic cupboard and washing machine are on, there'll be some hoovering later and a mini black bag/charity bag sweep, followed by some plumber searching. I do know one but he talks a lot and is very slow and always gives the impression he'd rather not be doing it, so time to find a new one. I think a day of potting on beckons for the rest of it, I have quite a few seedlings to transplant and put out, I finally cracked poppies , which no matter how many I scattered on the front garden never grew, so i resorted to modules and they grew. Blummin things. Looking forward ot those though, they're the big red oriental poppies.Izzy, glad to see you've slowed down a bit....no, actualy, you haven't...
Gers, glad your friend is OK, enjoy the water excercise...Ruby, hope you've got up to date tetanus! Next time, check! snoozer, hope the virii do one soon! camelot, are they aware of bbq etiquette? they might not know...nanny, happy birthday for yesterday! sorry, I totally forgot! I should have remembered, it's the same day as my fathers would have been. dp1, good luck today...Take care all, enjoy dry weather while you can!
