Job dilemma

I am after some advice please as I have an upcoming interview.
In 2021, I was offered 2 jobs at 2 different companies. I had to reject both at offer stage, 1 of the rejected companies has stayed in touch and contacts me now and then about roles directly, although I went through a recruiter. The 2nd company were not offering to cover my travel expenses despite long commutes and the recruiter didn't covey it properly to them, so I had to reject them at offer. Both of the roles were via 2 different recruiters who have stayed in touch and still come to me about roles.
In 2022, I was offered 2 jobs at 2 different companies but again I had to reject both. One company initially promised to cover my travel and accommodation expenses as commute was long but during the interview process the hiring manager from round 1 had changed to round 3 and the new hiring manager said they could not cover expenses and accommodation so I had to reject at offer. This job was one I went directly for and the HR team were complimentary towards my performance despite my rejection. The 2nd job I rejected, I went through a recruiter and accepted the offer but when the company sent the contract, there were several parts of the contract I had issues with and the company would not tweak. I had to reject them and the recruiter has never been in touch with me again.
I have recently applied for a job directly (no recruiter) where it was has been 2 months since my initial round interview with the company. Company have been good but discussions about potential pay package should I get the role have been very slow. They have finally got back to me and said they want to take me to final interview. I feel I have a good chance of getting the role but my worry is I am not entirely sure if the role is suitable for me and I will only find that out at final stage. If they make an offer and I decide not to take the role, will this be an issue. I am just worried from my previous experiences about yet another rejection but I guess it always has to work for both parties.

Are you saying that you have rejected job offers at the same company a couple of times already, and you might do it again? If so then yes, potentially they could get fed up with you doing this and decide not to interview you if something comes up again.
Or is it the recruitment agency that keeps finding you jobs that you reject? Same situation really, the agency might decide to stop looking for vacancies for you.
If it's neither of these scenarios then I'm not sure what the issue is. There is no database that states how many job offers you reject. Big Brother isn't watching us that closely (yet).
As you say a job needs to be suitable for both parties, there's not much point in accepting a job where you will be looking for something different straight away.1 -

My worry is will the company think I am a time waster if I do final stage and then decide if role is not for me? Package is fine but the role itself may not be what I am after. I have had 2 initial chats so far.

It sounds as though you are looking for reasons not to move (I assume you are employed at the moment).
You can never be sure a job will really be what you want/expect of it - things change. Sometimes you just have to take the risk or for ever be wondering whether it would have been perfect.
If you do drop out at the final stage, the company may feel their time has been wasted with you. Does that matter to you?
But their time has been spent on the whole recruitment process, not just with you. That is unless the role is highly specialised and they have nobody else they can find for the role. Otherwise they will appoint another person and invest their energy in making the most of that appointment rather than worrying about having lost your services.1 -

My challenge with this role has been Ihave had 2 initial calls but they were some time ago. The company were very slow in getting back to me but do want to take me to final stage. If I now go to final stage after so long and then decide role is not correct for me it is ok?
Your right that they have been looking at other candidates and this is one the reasons the whole process has been going on for 2 months.0 -

It is far better if you reject a role you believe is not what you want, rather than accept it, then a few months down the line realise it is not for you and then you have to look for another job and the employer again has to look for someone to fill the role.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales1 -

Yes essentially if the role is not correct for me either due to the duties or the package offered, I will reject. My worry is if I reject will they take it badly?0 -

They aren't going to "send the boys round" to give you a lesson in not wasting their time.
As I said previously, they don't want someone who won't be happy in the role and will be looking to leave a.s.a.p.. Don't worry, do what is best for you.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -

was thinking would they bad mouth me as small world?
You have given me confidence to give it a go and then decide, thank you0 -
Been given a final interview date but later than initially promised. Seems like they have long list of candidates so obviously I can reject if needed0
