Morning all,
I did my big Christmas shop last night and bought a lobster to make my lobster bisque for Christmas day (cost £8.99:eek: ) only to find when I got home that the use by date is today!!! Can I make the soup today and freeze it then defrost for use on Christmas day or is it too risky? I want to be MS but I dont want to poison us!!
Advice please?

I don't suppose you fancy returning it to the shop? I've seen someone return meat to Asda as the sell by date wasn't good enough.
Freezing the soup should be fine.0 -
