Morning, thanks for starting us off Scarlet.Yesterday was an odd sort of day, I ended up doing little jobs, going into town three times and then sitting in my garden enjoying the afternoon sun whilst listening to an audiobook. Mind you, I fell slightly asleep out there 😀 so came in after half an hour.I've had to order a new garden hose, it's another one which expands and shrinks, same as the current one which has just bitten the dust. The moon last night was spectacular, a strawberry moon apparently. Today may be another lovely one. I've been watching the swallows dancing about trying to catch early morning insects. Sometimes they cling to the outside wall picking things off crevices in the stone.Hugs to our poorlies and sads. Happy Sunday to all.10

Hello again, it's a nice morning here, but cold brr.Iris, hope you enjoyed the fete and bbq yesterday.Gers, your takeaway sounded delicious.Enjoy the cruise Bella, I've never been on a cruise.TA, hope you enjoy the caravan holiday, it's a change of scene. We'll be going away in ours again soon.Glad your hub is doing so well Izzy.I did a little shop yesterday just at one of our local supermarkets, but we are going out today to a nearby shopping centre. I would like to buy a pair of smart sandals and I've seen a pair in Ne*t, so will go there first. There's a Lidl nearby, so I think I'll go there for a change.I hope our poorly people are improving, thinking of the young Snoozers, Coxy, and anyone else who is not well.Take care folks. have a good day if you can.12

Scarlet If you ever get the chance to do a cruise go for it its not as stuffy as you imagine DH and my DM both thought it would be but after the first one they were hooked its lovely waking up in a different place each day
Snoozer Hoping you are all feeling a bit better
Izzy Pleased to hear your DH is doing so well

Morning All
Beautiful, bright and sunny morning again. I have the windows open to enjoy some of the cool morning air, it's supposed to be even warmer today than yesterday so will try to get the rest of the jet washing done this morning before it gets too hot, there's only a bit left to do but my back was aching last night so couldn't finish it. I'll go shopping first - don't want to wake the neighbours!
Glad Hubby is doing so well Izzy.
Your afternoon sounds blissful Gers.
Hope you get your sandals Scarlet.
Happy holidays Bella and TA.
I had a very happy few hours at the allotment although the peas don't seem to be doing well so will quickly sow some more, they are my favourite thing to grow so can't be without them.
Hope everyone has some good weather and has a very peaceful Sunday. Take care. XX

Morning folks and thanks SCARLET. Another lovely sunny day forecast, I can't believe what good weather we are having after all the rain in April.
I ended up with a "guest" last night. Youngest DGD, as DD was out at a friend's 50th do and middle DGD was staying with a friend. Before she arrived I managed to get my packing done for my jaunt to the van (not a lot needed) as well as unperishable food stuff. The fridge and freezer supplies will get packed in the morning. If I don't get back on tomorrow I'll see you in a week.
BELLA have a lovely holiday.. A cruise has never appealed to me either but friends praise them highly. Although we did go on a Nile cruise (plus a week in the Winter Palace) for our Silver Wedding, which was much enjoyed. But totally different to an ocean cruise!
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, getting better (MR IZZY and Junior SNOOZERS)) or MIA Take care all, be safe xx

Morning! Sunny here too for now. Yesterday was mostly spent playing games, gardening and cooking. Made hummus, tzatziki and woman's thigh [yes, you heard that right] meatballs along with a kind of grated courgette quiche type thing. Food today is sorted. More gardening beckons today, the jobs I keep putting off mostly, like the fiddly things or the non instant return things. Other than that I forsee nothing for the rest of the day.Snoozers, hope you are all better. You've have a right run if illness and upheaval haven't you? blla, enjoy the cruise, sounds lovely, I'd love to go. camelot, do you do the pea shoot sowing too for salads and stuff? Izzy, don't you do too much either, you're allowed a rest from work too...TA, happy more holidays! Gers, i like your falling 'slightly asleep'
Scarlet, enjoy the shopping experience
Take care all, it's a beautiful day, stop and smell the roses or the flowers but not the cat wee....

Morning all and glorious it is too. I didn't get to post yesterday. DGS had an early start with football in a cup match, and scored so he was happy. He was playing for his previous club and he & DS have decided he's going back- it's obvious he was so much happier, the boys & parents welcomed him back (and us) warmly so we all enjoyed it.A quick pit stop at DS and to pick up DGD. DH went back home but I went along for the ride to the Lake district to drop off DGS where his DM & SD were camping for a few nights for the first time. They seemed to be enjoying themselves and the views from the site were wonderful.Back home to chill and DH had been to the butchers for bbq stuff so that was tea sorted. I have the day to myself today as DH has gone to a classic car show with my DB1 at Tatton park. I shall probably go for a walk later, then read my book in the garden, think he'll be back mid afternoon. I have some steak for tea, ordered peppercorn ones from a T meal deal, which were substituted for 2 sirloin steaks. Think I got the better deal there, I can soon rustle up a sauceEnjoy vanning TAIzzy great to hear of DH making a good recoveryTaff- I do enjoy smelling the roses due to a lovely climber right next to my front doorHave a good day all, best wishes poorly people x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'.
