    None of my children,like us are in a financial position to pay this kind of money. If it was made clear to us at the time we would of not gone through with it.
    A very harsh lesson learned.

    With your children’s agreement you can dispense with the trust and return the house to your ownership. There will be legal costs involved in doing so, but it is definitely possible.

    Is it worth doing a subject access request for any fact finding completed by the company at the time?

    Most of these companies are unregulated and prey on people's worst fears even when they are unlikely to apply.
