1459.9 x 32p = £467
Less any of that energy that might otherwise have heated hot water via the iBoost (worth say a saving of 11p per unit of gas water heating costs)
You might be able to improve on this using a TOU tariff over the winter and/or Octopus Flux over the summer. Should also compare vs agile export with and without battery.
I wasn't sure how to calculate how much of that battery energy would have heated water, we're very low users of hot water it would appear, but It's offset by the iBoost savings which I didn't add. It's safe to say I made/saved £1995.28+
If I go to flux or another TOU tariff I would have to opt out of 50% deemed export, I have that calculated for the previous year at £111 deemed export and ~£98 if I was on Octopus 15p a unit export. Flux would probably be more and maybe exceed my deemed export, but isn't guaranteed whereas my deemed exports are for another 11 years.2 -

I had a Smets2 installed 2 years ago (not my idea) and over Easter an email arrived stating that I WILL be migrated off deemed to metered export within 6 months. 6 weeks later I was being paid for ~90% of my generation at 22.5p / 35.9p via Octopus Flux.Yes, the FIT terms & conditions state that deemed export should only be used where there is no export meter. As smart meters include an export register, metered export will probably catch up with us all eventually.(I recall some of the forum regulars arguing vehemently that this was not the case, last time this came up.)FWIW when my smart meter was installed I notified E.ON Next as my FIT supplier. They replied that I could switch to metered export if I wanted to, but that otherwise they'd leave me on deemed export.N. Hampshire, he/him. Although if I do get moved to metered export, it will probably be the catalyst to getting another system installed on the remaining part of my roof if DNO allowed, then I'll get the best of both worlds, FIT and big exports.4 Kwp System, South Facing, 35 Degree Pitch, 16 x 250W Solarworld Panels, SMA Sunnyboy 3600 Inverter, Installed 02/09/14 in Sunny South Bedford - £5600

I don't think you can use a smart meter to record exports unless you have an 'export MPAN'. And surely only you (or your import supplier ?) can apply for that.NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50

You will be moved over to smart export in the next 6 months. We'll contact you closer to the time to let you know when we're moving you over but there's nothing you need to do to switch over. If you have any questions, please email smartexport@goodenergy.co.uk.

I guess as we get towards the end of the FIT scheme, deemed export will become redundant.4kWp (black/black) - Sofar Inverter - SSE(141°) - 30° pitch - North LincsInstalled June 2013 - PVGIS = 3400Sofar ME3000SP Inverter & 5 x Pylontech US2000B Plus & 3 x US2000C Batteries - 19.2kWh0 -
