Heat storage battery for hot water?

Options
I'm looking at the possibility of replacing my hotwater tank and using an electric heat storage battery for hot water.  Anyone done this or have any advice?

Is that just a fancy name for a bigger hot water tank?
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

I have heard of one or two reliability issues, so I would suggest you research this further, and see what warranty is being offered on any unit you are considering.
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.
