Morning
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Damp underfoot, we've had some light rain overnight but forecast is for it to become dry during the day.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work, I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and my porridge whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy.
LO roast last night for dinner. Tonight I'm not sure will sort when I get in later.
Work as I expected hadn't been sorted as it should have been. I'll be speaking to the boss probably tomorrow, was so cross yesterday didn't dare as may have said something I'd regret later. Just as well I'm only working half day at the other office today.
Keep safe and well x

Morning all, thanks for starting us off nmlc. I hope you get things sorted at work. It's a beautiful morning which promises much. I'm off down to Glasgow for a double dental appointment, both hygienist and check up. I'll be home in time for tea. My drive should be fabulous.Yesterday's Teams meeting was OK, it wasn't a big sell by the bank though I learnt about 'saving pots'. Then I sat with a couple of friends on their outside space just yards from the edge of their sea loch, it was almost too hot to be out there.Hugs to our poorlies. Happy sunny Wednesday to all.11

Morning All
Thanks for the start nmlc, hope work improves for you.
Hope the dental appt goes well Gers, it will be a glorious drive although it's not sunny here yet.
Yesterday was really warm, I overheated a bit on the way home, wanted to put my flip flops on at work but I hadn't painted my toenails so had to suffer in trainers for the day. Toenails now painted so I can step out in comfort today.
I keep waking up really early (4.30) so I've done the ironing and tidied up a bit. I spent a happy couple of hours playing with the power washer on the deck when I got home, the cold water spray was lovely!
Hope the poorlies are recovering Snoozer.
Sorry to hear of your SIL's stroke TA, we really don't know what's round the corner do we?
Thinking of you and your SIL too Coxy, what a worrying time.
Happy haircut iris.
Hoping your DH's op went well Izzy and he's home soon.
Sounds like you had a good day out dp1, I enjoyed Beamish when I went but that was quite a few years ago.
Welcome back taff.
Should be a good day at work, only two classes in today as the oldest are at the High School for a visit and the rest are going to the Science Centre for the day. I think my colleague returns today too - maybe I'll get at least a tea break!
Have a good day, take care. (no kisses today, the keys on this old pc are slowly giving up!)10 -
Morning folks and thanks NMLC. Another cloudy start with sun forecast for later. It's going to be a re-run of yesterday as it was quite nippy waiting for the bus to town and when the sun came out after lunch it was almost too hot.
I have an Ocado delivery due 8.30/9.30. A bit later than usual as no bus trip day today with DF is gadding off on holiday for 2 weeks. My last delivery didn't go to plan - booked 7.30/8.30 slot and he came at 6.50 whilst I was still in my dressing gown!!
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, getting better or MIA. COXY I hope all goes well for your SIL, it's such a frightening illness. Take care all and be safe xx

Morning everyone TA thinking about your SIL hope she improves soon Coxy I hope your SIL gets the help she needs it’s a terrible illness hubby rang last night and everything went great he has just rang again this morning saying he’s in a lot of pain but they are looking after him and he feels this knee operation went better than the last one physio is coming to see him later and he’s hoping to be home tomorrow last time he was in a week but some of the stitches had come out . Little dog has been walked I will be back at lunchtime for another quick walk and then she will get taken for a longer one tonight stayed the same at WW last night but better than putting on it’s a slow journey. Must get cracking or I won’t get to work at this rate thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing11

Morning all and thanks for the start @nmlc x Hope you get things sorted at work.
My voice is all but gone and I have a nasty cough. I have also been binge eating which is ironic given what I'm stressed about concerning SIL. There's an appointment this week which I hope she attends. ILs are seeing her and BIL today, so the monitoring of the situation continues.
DH in Birmingham today so I'm WFH alone. I'll be making massaman curry for tonight and there's an enormous ironing pile to tackle later.
Glad to hear DH's op went well @IzzyBee and well done on STS. Keep going!
Safe driving @Gers
Have a good day everyone,

Morning all, thanks nmlc - hope work is better today. It's not sunny here yet.I am thinking of another bus trip this morning, the other direction this time to Bury market. DS has been having some time off so I don't feel guilty about leaving pooch, and I have more time to myself this week with no school DGC pick ups, though the downside of that is I don't see them every day. There is a chicken & leek pie in the fridge for the menfolk but I may freeze that if it turns warmer later, the clouds are disappearing now.Glad to hear DH is doing ok after the knee op Izzy.Hope you get your tea break Camelot!Have a good drive Gers, I know my bus trip won't be as beautiful as your drive but at least I get to see the hills and moors on the way.Take care all, love to the poorlies x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Morning all
Lovely bright day here but still a cold wind I shall be glad once it settles a bit. Off to collect my private client today and take him to work it’s half term here so the place will be rammed - thank goodness I am no longer in the cafe 😃
Dinner tonight will be some more gammon with chips and egg, I won’t have the chips but maybe some grilled halloumi instead.
Will do some shopping on the way back later don’t need too much this week.
Coxy I hope you sil gets the help she needs it must be so worrying for you all xx
Izzy glad the op went well xx
Have good day’s all and take care xx11 -
Morning all, dull and grey here and a bit nippy after the heat of the weekend, I was just getting used to that, now I need to find a cardi again. No plans today, although I will cut the grass, I didn't get round to it yesterday, i just played with planting out and potting on and rescuing a geum that wasn't happy where it was. Window guy came and measured, so that's three people now from the same firm who hve been really nice, friendly and professional. I'm so going to recommend them to everyone if this continues. Seeing the house through someone else's eyes was not pleasant again, so more decluttering is needed. A ruthless touch is needed I fear. Planning on cooking some barbeque beans today and some falafel tomorrow, this week is mostly vegetarian, and gassy ..:)Rosy, I saw a bit on Saturday litchen maybe where they went to a proper pork pie producer, omg, I did some drooling...Coxy, bet that was a bit difficult. Hope your intervention helped, sometimes it's just difficult to let go of things that are detrimental to us, I was anorexic for a short time when I was a lot lot younger and it was all about unhappiness, sadness and not being able to cope with those feelings. I expect her reasons will be different but I hope you got through to her. It is nice to see someone interfering too, in the nicest way rather than just letting events take their course. Bella, hope you got a better sleep last night Izzy, good to hear all went well, well done for sts, that's still a bonus! Gers, enjoy your drive, sounds lovely. TA, fingers crossed you're decent this morning Take care all, kisses from my keyboard to yours [ camelot ] xxxNon me fac calcitrare tuum culi11

Morning all, it's very overcast at the moment and is said to continue for the rest of the day, yah boo ! Bring back my sun !!
My neighbours started moving out yesterday as their new house is now finished, wonder who'll be in there next ? The house on other side has also been sold and they are having a lot of work done there, it's all change in the street again.
Today we are going to a small retail park as Mr Fix It wants a new hard drive so I'll go to bandq to look for some wallpaper for the bedroom. As if I haven't got enough work to do I'm going to do more decorating !! 😏
No idea what to have for tea today, I'll have to rummage in the freezer although there's not much left to rummage through, I'm going to have to go shopping tomorrow.
Coxy hugs to you and your family.
Izzy glad the op went well and I hope Dh's recovery is a speedy one. Keep on fighting at WW, I'm back to my diet too as I need to lose the few pounds that I acquired on hols.
Rosy I remember visiting Bury market when I was staying with friends 'up north' many years ago. I had my first taste of black pudding from there, yummy !
Hope everyone has a good day whatever you are doing. Hugs to all.
Take care all, stay safe and well.

Hi everyone,
I almost didn't post, you must all be fed up hearing about the house of plague, we've been battling one thing after another for more than a month now, we all need a break. I had another disturbed night, taking Esther while Laura dealt with a distressed Esben. Laura felt as if she was coming down with the covid last night but it might just have been tiredness, if she is getting it I hope it's sooner rather than later.
I spent nearly all day playing with Esben so I didn't get anything else done. Today I need to clean the bathrooms because the cleaner is away for the next two weeks so it's down to us.
I'm jealous of all those with the hot weather, it's been decidedly chilly and cloudy here and it doesn't seem to be getting any better.
Best wishes for TA and Coxy's SiL's.
I hope the dentist goes well, enjoy the drive Gers.
Have a good day.12
