Good morning folks.
Behind the grey clouds the sun is trying to shine. I'm off for coffee.

Coffee in bed is such a treat, I keep it for the weekends though I didn't know why.Yesterday was mostly miserable weather-wise. A bit chilly, a bit cloudy and then wet. I found myself slumped into a TV fest as I binge watched Annika with Nicola Walker playing the lead. It's definitely quirky but I really enjoyed it. Plus it's set all around the west coast here and a lot in Glasgow, recognising places that I know was an extra bonus. The only interruptions were the postie and the chap up the hill who did his brute strength deed in a flash. By then the rain had appeared so the grass is still uncut. Next full dry days seems to be Wednesday and Thursday, I may need a strimmer by then.Today I may venture out, there's a lot going on round the region, I can poke around a bit. I hope that everyone is doing well. Happy Sunday to all.11

Morning folks and thanks GERS. We are forecast it a bit cooler today (yesterday was the hottest day of the year so far for us and it really was a bit too hot for sitting out in all afternoon) DD and the girls have gone to the caravan for the week and she says she might cry if she doesn't get the good weather I had!
DS is coming up about 10.00 to cut the front hedge and then see what he can do about the rambling rose that appeared from nowhere last summer and is now taking over. He wanted to come earlier but doesn't like disturbing my neighbours if they are having a Sunday lie in. Sadly some of them are not quite so considerate!
I got some nice news last night! A WhatsApp from my DB of my DN getting married over the anvil at Gretna Green! No-one knew beforehand except DB and SIL. She has had two disastrous relationships previously so wanted to keep this one fuss free! They look so happy and we are just hoping it's 3rd time lucky!
Oh well jobs await so I had better spring into action I suppose. First job DW to empty as that has just finished. Take care all and be safe. ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, getting better or MIA. xx

Morning all, the sun is shining again. I seemed to be busy all day yesterday but it was 2 steps forward and 3 back having made more mess than I started with ! I washed Mr Fix It's winter throw and the sofa cushion covers then decided to wash the small rug that we use in front of the patio doors. That was a big mistake as it disintegrated in the wm and left a trail of bits everywhere so I had to then clean out the wm and clean the kitchen floor 😠 it's now in the rubbish bin. I also aired the 'van pillows and our sleeping bags but then unceremoniously dumped them in the spare room adding to the mess in there. I didn't get around to ruining the garden either, I'm sure I would have made a mess of that too.
Today Dad is coming over so I'll rest my brain and body and start afresh on Monday, I hope he's in a good mood. A roast chicken lunch with all the trimmings is on the menu as I was craving a home cooked one while on holiday, then there is some lo party food and a strudel in the freezer so that's tea sorted.
TA good news about the wedding.
Take care all, hugs to the poorly ones.

Morning all just dropped DH and DD2 at the station as they are off to a rugby match i am on baby sitting duty as usual DGS kept DD up all night waking every hour but not fully awake he did this to me the other night and he is not wanting his bottle before his sleep in the morning so obviously she needs to re think his routine he is nearly 9 months where did the time go he is just playing happily on his mat with his toys so i have 5 minutes to drink my tea
Sun is shinning so we may go to the park later other than that not much can be done today but hey ho i enjoy it and i know i will never get these days back so the dust can wait
Have a good day one and all enjoy the sun xxSlava Ukraini10 -
Hi everyone,
TA, what lovely news about your DN, I hope she has found happiness at last.
Bella, snap with the babies, Nate is 9 months and Esther 6 months now.
Laura rang in tears last night because Esben is being quite difficult at the moment. He is jealous of the attention Esther gets and for the most part it's fine but when he's tired or ill it comes out in bad behaviour and last night apparently he was a nightmare. Not helped by Brian saying he was tired and going to bed so she was trying to cope alone. Poor little boy has had a rotten go of illnesses and also disruption with being in Wales and now away, plus every time he tried to come near me in the last few days I have had to tell him to go away so I didn't give him covid, it's no wonder he's acting up. Hopefully he'll soon be back to his usual sunny self.
Have a good day.11 -
Snoozer, poor Laura - I think I might have put Esben in bed with Brian! Hopefully the smalls will soon be able to spend proper time with you and that settles him down x2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇
