Technical difficulties for Lloyds online mortgage applications

Put in an online application for additional borrowing on Thursday night. Crashed at the last page and gave a number to call. Lost nearly 2 hrs of our life on the phone to a mortgage advisor only for the same to happen to them. All of last night, and again this morning, it crashes at the application submission page. We’re well within limits and passed the affordability test with the advisor.
Is anyone else having this? Have they turned the system off to stop people moving before a potential rate rise (ie I am literally wasting my time), or do people eventually break through with persistence?

Bump.
Still can’t get it to work, and no one at Lloyds can progress the phone application because it’s ‘locked’ to the advisor we spoke to and who is now on leave. Complete farce.0 -

Hopefully the application being 'locked' means that that rate is secured but if not, you could use the above to try and get them to let you proceed on the product-guide that was available on the date that you tried to submit the application but couldn't do so because of their system.
The above suggestion is loosely based on what I do if a lender is pulling rates and their system crashes (happens quite regularly when a large lender pulls rates with short notice) stopping me from submitting a client's app and securing a rate. I then get in touch with my BDM the next day to see if there is any way to get the rate that was available at the time. It doesn't work all the time, but often does.
