WANTED - Free Diary

arkonite_babe

Following a thread I saw in the freebies section, does anyone know where I can get my paws on a free or almost free diary? Would like one of the A5 size cos anything else is too fiddly for me at work. Used to get these free form reps all the time, now I'm in a different job I really begrudge paying through the nose for a decent one.

Any tips or hints on where to get one I'd be grateful  ;)

Wait till January and buy in the sales?

Find a bookshop near a university and see if they have any academic year ones reduced before January?

Keep your eye on magazines and see if any of them are giving one away (although that's usually a tiddly one).

Texaco garages are selling a filofax one including a calculator for £3.99 if that's any good and not too pricey for you. I think it was £3.99 anyway.

I've been to "The Works" today and got two good quality A5 diaries for £1.50 each in their sale. Also have engagement calendars for £1 and nice Christmas cards greatly reduced, etc. ... well worth a look. ;D

Cheers Mimi1 but unfortunately I don't think The Works have any branches in Northern Ireland, I've never heard of them. Thanks anyway!
